From 19th September 2022, you will only be able to use those functions that you have booked as a payment service. For example, you need the Geo service for a current vehicle position in the fleet monitor and the Perform service for the display of consumption in the deployment analysis. Departure control and the ServiceCareS and MAN Now services, which continue to be free, are not affected by the cancellation.
If you use the current vehicle position in the fleet monitor without having booked the Geo service or if you use the display of consumption in the deployment analysis without having booked the Perform service, this service will no longer be available to you from 19th September 2022.
The cancellation of Essentials and the functions offered with it have nothing to do with the service components of MAN ServiceCare S.
If you use the Perform and Geo services, then the end of Essentials will not affect you. You don’t have to do anything at all and will probably not even notice the end of Essentials. All services booked for a fee remain in full operation and can still be used.
You must book Geo for your vehicles from 19th September 2022.
At RIO, we use the term "Free Trial" to refer to a defined set of services that are available for use free of charge for three months. During this time, these services can be tried out without restriction.
This free trial period is originally designed for new customers who have not yet booked a payment service on the RIO Platform. But we are also making the "Free Trial" available to you as an existing customer. However, this is subject to a number of preconditions:
