MAN DataPackage TiGR is an API solution that provides fleet managers with relevant information from the vehicles in their fleet.

The MAN DataPackage TiGR is available for Lion’s City E buses (MY24 with the CM4 is still in validation) and offers data in accordance with the TiGR industry standard. The service provides data based on event triggers following a push-based principle. By integrating this API into already existing TiGR compliant fleet management solution, fleet managers can streamline processes, enhance safety and optimize asset usage.

Overview of services
To activate the MAN DataPackage TiGR API the fleet vehicles have to be set up in the administration area on the RIO platform and the service has to be activated for these vehicles via the Marketplace. Once the service is booked, the customer needs to contact the RIO customer support to provide the server details to send the event-based data.

The essentials of the MAN DataPackage TiGR API for fleet management are the following:

  1. The data is available via a push-based API (mobile apps and dashboards do not exist in connection with this service)
  2. After successful booking and corresponding registration on the RIO Marketplace, the customer needs to contact the RIO customer support to provide the server details to send the push-based data
  3. The data will be streamed to the fleet management server following a push-based principle based on TiGR protocol events
  4. The service offers a set of vehicle data from static to dynamic vehicle information

Requirements
The following requirements must be met to book MAN DataPackage TiGR:

  1. Use of a RIO box (the provision of which is not part of the Terms and Conditions of Service)
  2. This service is currently available for Lion’s City E buses (MY24 with the CM4 is still in validation)
  3. Use of a customer system for interface communication with the Data Provision system via push events according to the specification available on TiGR API Specification. In the case of a third-party company, it is the customer's responsibility to manage and facilitate the communication to their own system.

Service Interruption and Disclaimer of Warranty
The content of the MAN DataPackage TiGR is subject to be changed and updated over time. In the event of unforeseen technical issues, system maintenance, or any other factors that may temporarily disrupt or affect the accuracy of the API service, the provider shall make reasonable efforts to promptly address and rectify the situation, but shall not be liable for any resulting consequences or damages suffered by the users during such periods of service interruption or data inaccuracies.
