The MAN eManager M offers further possibilities in addition to the charging management options of the MAN eManager S: It provides detailed analyses for the MAN Lion’s City E of charging and discharging processes with regard to the battery and energy consumption. For this purpose, the application provides the user with extensive data on the battery and the consumption of the drive, the air conditioning and auxiliary consumers – hence, the use of the electric buses can be optimised.
In addition to historical evaluations and data, the MAN eManager M also has – compared to the MAN eManager S – additional functions in charging management: Battery charge level and the remaining capacity of the battery in kWh are displayed for the electric buses in all states of charge. Furthermore, it is possible to see which vehicles are on the track, moving or stationary. The operator has his entire fleet in view at all times!
Easy control of charging and preconditioning of the MAN Lion’s City E – you can monitor the charge level and the remaining capacity of the batteries at all times, even when the vehicles are on the road.
The MAN eManager M offers extended information for a detailed analysis of the battery and consumption data of your MAN Lion’s City E: The consumption history shows the proportional energy consumption broken down by drive, vehicle air-conditioning system and auxiliary consumers.
The ambient temperature is stored, so the air-conditioning system’s consumption data can be easily interpreted and its consumption reduced for future vehicle operations based on targeted use. In addition, the recuperation performance of the MAN Lion’s City E is indicated. Thus, a potential for improvement of the driving behaviour can be identified.
The fleet manager overlooks the battery status at a glance and can analyse charging and discharging processes for a specific period in detail. The battery history contains, amongst others, information on charging and discharging currents, battery voltage and charging errors. This way, the operator always has full transparency about the battery behaviour.
In case of deviations with regard to battery temperature and battery voltage during the charging or discharging process, the MAN eManager M provides insight. This allows to monitor the condition of the battery and supports maintenance management.
