Driving time monitor

Daily driving time, weekly rest time, shift times and more – drivers not only have to keep an eye on their destination. They must also know their time budget at all times – for their own safety and to avoid costly driving time violations.

MAN TimeControl knows the legal requirements and settles them with the data from the tachograph. The results are clearly displayed in the “driving data” in the combined instrument. In addition to the information at MAN TimeInfo, MAN TimeControl displays the weekly shift time, working time, current on-call time, break time, rest time and weekly rest time.

In addition, our “driving time monitor” actively informs the driver about relevant driving and rest times according to the current situation. Via a notification, the driver receives exactly the information that is important for him at this very moment: For example, an overview of the weekly shift time so that he can allocate his remaining time quota in good time. Or a notice reminding of the next legally required break.

Easy installation and payment

After booking, the over-the-air feature is transmitted to the vehicle via mobile internet and made permanently available via a guided installation process.
Settlement takes place via a one-off payment.

Prerequisites for the use

The over-the-air feature is available for MAN trucks in EU27+3 from model year 2022 with an installed and activated on-board telematics module (...).
Another requirement for the upgrade includes an installed digital tachograph.
MAN Now checks whether your vehicle meets these and any other requirements for the feature before booking.
